This Valentine’s season, we’re moving beyond the box of chocolates to practice a love that stays. From Jan 30 – Feb 14, our Love in Action Drive reclaims the holiday as a "Love Thy Neighbor" mission. By collecting heart-healthy foods and "Gospel Valentine" spiritual resources, we are preparing to serve our community at The Bridge on Feb 14. Join us in turning a commercial tradition into an act of sacrificial generosity.
WHAT'S NEEDED?
Bulk Canned Goods:
10 Cans (large industrial size) of Kidney Beans, Black Beans, and Crushed Tomatoes
Proteins:
Ground Beef, Ground Turkey, or canned chicken
Base Ingredients:
Low-sodium Beef/Vegetable Broth and Tomato Paste
Sides:
Boxes of Cornbread mix, fruit, hot cocoa mix and instant coffee
Sanitation:
sponges, cloths and cleaning sprays
Other Items:
Gospel Valentines: Love letters sharing The Gospel
Heavy-Duty Paper Plates & Cups
Sturdy Plastic Spoons & Napkins
40 Ct Packs of Bottled Water
Small clear snack-sized Ziploc bags
Socks, Gloves & Beanies
Hand Warmers: Disposable
heat packets.
Emergency Blankets:
Mylar "space blankets"
